Aaaand saves fine on G6 Lite too.

I'm now using the settings 'Force R/W, Soft Reset + Trim Rom' so that I can have the benefits of Soft Resetting to the loader menu as well.

I made some test and the results are quite strange.
Saved on SCSD, reload on SCSD -> won't work
Saved on NO$GBA, reload on NO$GBA -> work
Saved on SCSD, converted back to NO$GBA -> won't work
Saved on NO$GBA, converted back to SCSD -> won't work
damn

As I've been saying for a while the slot 2 solutions are getting old. You'll be lucky if the supercard team decide to release another update to get it saving properly. This is why I got an R4 months back. Never had any problems playing the latest games.

this seems to be the turning point with the competition between the R4 and the Supercard. Why is the R4 the only card running this flawlessly? while everybody else is stuck with problems? this sucks >_

SCSD runs fine for me .... almost. I just tried to save once again and i got the "Saving alot of data..." message once again, which should only be happening if i never saved before. However, i did that several times before. Conclusion: the sav file gets deleted while playing the game... somehow.
It's strange anyways that it works for me and not for others that also have SCSD.

m3CF runs this fine. Never had a problem using this card for the two years I've had it. Both English and Japanese versions work with their saves.

Supercard DS ONE WORKS! =D

make sure you do the following:
1) change the save size to 2M [ by going to options -> file info -> then press CHANGE until it becomes 2M ]
2) in the OTHER menu at the top of the touch screen uncheck the ENABLE PATCH option (turn it off)

and VIOLA! it should work!

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
