im trying to install pokemon violet and im getting an error in awoo and tinwoo unable to install due to error you may have a bad dump or firmware version may be too low.

my CFW is 13.2.1



any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Like the error says, too old firmware. Update to 14.1.2 (CFW still has some issues with 15.x, so I didn't update to it), that works with the latest 1.1.0 update for S/V too.

i know this sounds like a silly question but is there any guide to update to 14.1.2? im worried if i upgrade ill lose the CFW..

ive just upgraded to 14.1.2 and now im receiving another error message " failed to open file system with id error code 0x001fb402

since you just updated your firmware, you also have to update your sigpatches to the appropriate version

youll never lose cfw, yeah there may be time where you gotta start fresh but thats it.

as for acquiring firmware files. you can dump them yourself by updating sysnand if you run cfw on emunand, or just google darth switch firmware

thannks mate that's what it was ! now Ive updated Pokemon to 1.10 and its saying 14.1.2 wont play it haha
