Hmm, calling them shadow pokemon outright doesn't sit right with me, what do you think of this revision of it?

These pokemon would tear the skin off of certain pokemon, leaving them to die in wallowing pain, and then wear their skin as a disguise, leaving the pokemons carcass a rotten mess and more often then not hidden. However they would not use their disguise in battle. Crazy right? But that won't happen again... right? heehee...." Then have the professor in this game come to a more solid conclusion by naming them shadow pokemon later in the game

Since Shadow Lugia Will(Most Likely)Become A Dark/Dragon Type. It Will Have The Ability Water Bubble To Basically Gain A Third Typing(Water)

I like the idea of having shadow lugia have the ability water bubble, was always a mystery to me why it didn't have a water typing on it even though it lives at the bottom of the sea
