Gaming Pokemon Silver VC theme

Hi,

so today I got my european version of Pokemon Silver (boxed) and used code to download game. However I can not find code for theme code, I went into account activity and found code for Celebi, but not for theme. Can someone help me out?

Should be on the same receipt underneath the Celebi code. If you only have one on your account activity, then I don't know what to tell you.

Does theme applies only for USA or also for the rest of the world too?

Also didn't got it nether for my Gold version. Does anyone knows why?

They also gave me same code for Celebi even if i bought both of the version -.-

Pretty sure the theme is only for those who buy the game through the eshop, so download code from retail package won't get you the theme...

According to the site it is yeah. I didn't buy them this time around but I knew Celebi codes were given with retail purchases so I wasn't sure about the themes. Anyway, quoted from Pokemon.com, "If you purchase Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver via Nintendo eShop before January 15, 2018, you'll get a cool new theme for your Nintendo 3DS."

And I quote, "

• Players that purchase a Pokémon Gold / Pokémon Silver download code from select retailers may receive a different Theme (Pokémon Gold / Pokémon Silver Cast Theme), but will not receive a code for Celebi."

Which theme are you speaking of? The Gold & Silver Cast theme or the game-specific theme featuring Ho-oh/Lugia? The cast theme can be found on My Nintendo in Europe (not available to us US folks), which is why you probably didn't get a download code for it. As for the game-specific themes, you HAVE to buy the games from the eShop directly to obtain those themes.

Yep the only way for US to get cast theme is via Best Buy, amazon or GameStop purchase of either of those VC games

I bought boxed version in Europe. This really sucks that I can't get theme even if I bought game...
