Ive searched over and over, and cant find an answer to my particular problem, feel free to show me im an idiot if Ive missed something somehow... thanks in advance

So issue being that I deleted the homebrew menu by accident, and this started my cascade... Put it back where it should be, and got things loading again, however EdisonSE wouldnt show any cheats, even though I had added them previously as the instructions said to do. (Keeping in mind that Im fairly computer literate, I write android apps for a living lol).

So, after doing some reading here, I saw the other people who said they had the wrong version, and made sure my version was the one from the instruction list, and no where else. Same with the other instructed installations.

Still nothing would show up as far as cheats. I turned on my internet to allow for updating of the database, and then turned it back off again. (This gave me those annoying "there is an update for the software" prompts on all my games, but I confirmed multiple points in this process that I did not update by mistake, right up to and including the end)

So from here I started getting frustrated and just wanted to play for a bit, so I gave up and tried to load Scarlet to play.

Got an error saying it could not load the software. (Not that it was corrupted, I've seen those before and this was different).

Tried to fix my root folders and all that manually, but then decided maybe a fresh install was best.

Got the SD built from SDsetup, with literally just enough to get atmosphere running, nothing else.

Anything that was put into the zip file for me, I replaced in my actual switch, and also kept all the sig patches.

Did this by deleting the Atmosphere folder, the Bootloader folder, and the Switch Folder.

Put the fresh ones in, and also made sure the sig patches were present as previously mentioned.
My atmosphere folder has the basic files, same with bootloader, and then my switch folder has daybreak.nro and Goldleaf.

Rebooted the console, nothing wrong so far. Boot up the HB menu, and that works completely fine. Loaded up Untitled Goose Game, and it came on no issue.

Tried to load up Scarlet, and it gave me the same "Could not load Software, go to the home menu and try again".

So I went and deleted the software itself, and did a fresh install through Goldleaf.

Guess what?

Nothing changed, I still cant open the game.

Any thoughts or advice at all would be greatly appreciated. My daughter will not be impressed when she cant play tomorrow lol

TLDR I've done a fresh install of atmosphere and scarlet itself, and cant open scarlet now, even without edizon etc installed on the system. It worked before I started trying to add the cheats lol

delete the cheat folder

So to the best of my knowledge, I did this when I removed atmosphere entirely.
I deleted the entire folder, and added a fresh install version of everything CFW related.
I kept only my Nintendo folder, licenses etc that weren't related to CFW.

Going to double check this right now though, thanks for the thought

Try turning encounter code on, default encounter on, then the item.
