Hmph, ran into another problem.
Long story short, I wanted to see if I could download the Luminscent Platinum mod for BDSP, but I thought I'd go ahead and move all my Pokémon transferable for BDSP through HOME to make backup copies. My plan was to have the copies of everyone be available to play with in LP whenever I wanted to use them, but the original versions would still be safely in their respective Scarlet/BDSP/Shield games. I wasn't sure if it would work, but I just wanted to test and see if it was possible.
But when trying to use HOME to transfer everyone, I get the
2-alzta-0005 error code.
Google says it means it's detecting Pokémon altered through PKHex, but not checked for legality?
Following this guide, I installed the Auto Legality plugins for an older version of PKHex, but when I try to open the files I want to edit, I get a message that says '
Input files too large'...
Ooookay, so that didn't work, and I'm not finding any clear answers on how to fix it either.
So I tried something else.
Using the latest version of PKHex, with the latest ALM plugin version, only gets me this message:
The most obvious answer would be 'Wait for a 25.06.09 plugins update', but yeah...I'm not sure if that's gonna happen if the last update was back in 2023. Is there a workaround for this problem, or am I missing some important details somewhere?
And lastly, would the whole issue, at least for HOME, be solved if I just did a system update?
For about a day or two now, trying to open up any game gets me this message:
I JUST got my newly modded Switch lite working the way I needed it to, and I wasn't sure if doing a system update would ruin all my progress or not, so I've been cautiously avoiding it.
Sorry for the bother, still a newbie trying to understand and learn all of this!
