Hacking Pokemon Rumble World save tool error

I get an error when I try to open a 00slot00 file, specifically the "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application" error message, the continue button doesn't change anything

I seem to recall seeing this error once before.

Where did you download the tool from? Did you extract all the files in the .zip to a folder somewhere on your PC? Because this sort of error can happen if you're just trying to run a .exe from a .zip file directly without extracting everything first.

I got it from the Github, yes, all files were extracted.

Usually it is helpful if you are more precise than that. If you're referring to https://github.com/SciresM/Rumble-World-Save-Tool , there's no download link there.

I downloaded it from one of the issues attached to the project, specifically issue #5, the file I'm using is literally a .zip file with the .exe file in it

I found a thread with a download for the save editor from the original author of the github project, the .zip file is about 100 KB larger than the one I was using, I'll try using this version later.

Yes, I think you will find that download includes the .dll file mentioned in the error message.

The version I found wasn't the most updated so I copied the .dll file into the updated version and it works, so I'm probably going to upload a complete version to the previously mentioned Github project.
