Just played through the demo and these are the things i picked up:

Starting scene

"For some people, Pokemon for some reason are used as pets." Doesn't sound right, thats all, i suggest changing it maybe? more like something to " For some people, Pokemon are seen as pets."?

Selecting Gender
havn't (Spelling error, should be haven't)

Select Gender
Text SHOULD read "What's your name again?" not Whats the name again

Friend
Could Be re-worded to "His results are similar to yours"
Also "...What was his name" could be re-worded to "What is his name again?"

If you talk to the grunt blocking route 1 he will tell you that they are working on the sprites in battle.

About the Gary sprite, I already know about that....It will be fixed very shortly.

Just to let everyone know that I've uploaded a slightly updated demo.

This demo now has:
- Gary's Battle Sprite as a Team Rocket Grunt.
- The Female grunt sprited when walking.

I've also added a few more gameplay images that will be in the next demo.

I've uploaded v2 of Pokemon RocketRed.

Changes made:
- You can now go up to the end of Route 1.
- The Male Team Rocket grunt you play as now has a battle Back-Sprite.
- There are new Wild Pokemon in Route 1.
- Little changes involving what happens in Route 1; Such as what people say.

Please tell me if you notice any bugs in the demo

Dude, that wasnt like, absolute negative, I just told you, so you can correct it. (Told you about those fences and shadows)

How about close to abslolute negative? LOL

Testing the newer version of your release, found one spelling/grammer error you forgot to change:
"What's the name?" Would be better said as "What's your name?"

Also, After obtaining your pokemon, if you walk right to the boxes that the pikachu is in and head down towards the door, Toru wont fight you you'll just breeze out the door, And if you walk back in, he will battle you but will walk to the pikachu and the battle scene will comence.

You could remove the grunts from the exit of pallet town that say:
"Sorry, as this is only a demo... blah blah blah, Cannot pass pallet town"

When you go to start menu and go to your trainers name, in my case "Jordan" , The sprite in there is the normal trainer, not a rocket grunt.

Suggestion:
I was thinking if possible, when you go to your bag, instead of the bag being yellow, make it s black Team Rocket bag with a R on it.

Feedback:
Loving the change of pokemon in the grass, it adds a nice touch!

I was going to change this, but I thought Giovanni sounded better by saying something more laid back like, "What's your name?".

Thanks for the find, this has happened to me before...but I thought I fixed it. I can easily fix this.

LOL...I noticed this once I had already uploaded the game. I caneasily fix this for the next demo.

I forgot about changing that, I'll fix that up.

I think I might still do some more mini changes in Pallet Town and Route 1 before I upload another verion. I'd like to thankyou outgun for the feedback

PS: What did you think of the main character's battle back-sprite?

its a good start for the back sprite, i think alot more improvement can be done though. Shading is alittle off, i think the colour used to outline his arms and such are abit too light. idk XD

I was a little worried about doing the backsprite, as I had never done it before. I thought it was a good start, but I also feel the colors used were way off! I just need to get more practice changing palletes with that certain program.

If you can find one. It's not that easy.

Also, I don't want to steal other people's good work. So far, my hack has been done 100% by me (Other then the stuff that Nintendo has already done LOL).

But still, if you can find one...that would be good. I could still get some ideas from it.

I think I'll just leave it for now, because I'll never get any progress on the hack if I just worry about the battle backsprite.

I'm hoping to get ALOT done in Viridian City by the end of the day.

I made some edits to your sprite in game, See what you think, i just changed colours REALLY and defined the arms abit.
