Gaming Pokémon Platinum - Mt. Coronet

Hi.

Need some help in platinum

I'm on my way through Mt.Coronet, but there's two "grunts" blocking the way.

Grunt 1: The fog is so thick ahead I can't even see my own hand!
Can you use Defog so we can see?

Grunt 2: Hah? The Pokémon they gave me can't use Defog, either.
I think we're stuck. Let's wait till the others get here.

What shall i do?

Erm....try using defog maybe? o_o

If they block the way, it means you need to find another route or trigger an event that will make em go away

I think bamse knows that already.

But I guess that is all you can do. Use Defog, nothing happens, then go look around that area for a way past them. If they have guides out, try using them. Or even ask Marriland on youtube. He for can help you for sure~!

I had the exact same problem, you have to talk to your Rival at the Canalave City library, and that triggers a series of events that you must complete before the grunts move. Of course, you might be not be as far into the game as me yet.

But then i need the galactic key?

I googled, and i read that you have to defeat some grunts at three lakes.

But do i need to go to route 216 / 217 for this? I can't find a way beside the Coronet?

You get the Galactic Key in the Galactic basement HQ, which is one the top left part in veilstone, around where you helped Dawn fight 2 grunts.
