Hacking Pokemon Platinum GBA Inserted Pokemon

I have both a CycloDS Evo & EZ Flash 3in1+, lets say I have Platinum & Ruby on my MicroSD. Will I be able to catch those gba slot pokemon in Platinum?

yes, you wil be able to, if you use rudolph's tool to copy the game to the NOR (back up your save first, the gba game must be played at least once)

Update:

I did what you said, I downloaded Rudolphs GBA Exploader v0.58b. I also played the game & saved it (catching 7 pokemon).

When loading up Platinum (at the menu) I don't even get "Migrate from Ruby", I tried to use my Retail Platinum cart.

I also tried to go to Route 203 to catch a Seedot on my CycloDS & Retail.

Am I missing something else?

I believe you have to patch the Platinum ROM first before you can migrate from the 3in1. This thread has more details.

Yeah figured it out earlier, I just forgot to edit my post.

The game also has to be patched for the wild GBA slot Pokemon.

I did over 50 battles without the patched version (nothing)

I did 6 battles with the patched version it appeared, few more battles it appeared again.
