Gaming Pokemon Platinum Event cheats

can someone explain what i'm doing wrong?
let take Azure Fluet as an Example...
i use the cheat(from Narin's Awsome cheats!

) and goto the market,
pick up the item, go to the place(the pillar thingy) and then it askes if i want to play it.
i say "yes, play it" and then it says "nothing happend"!! now what did i do wrong?? do i have to do something else first or?

same happens with all other thingy's like the membercard, all that happens is it says its locked so can't go in the hotel...
WHAT DO I DO WRONG?!

You should beat Dalgia and Palkia first, right? I used the Azure Flute from a cheat and it worked great. There should be stairs that suddenly appear.

i beated the Elete four and all the other main thingys and it didn't work for me...

If I remember correctly, simply having the item doesn't trigger the event. I may be wrong however since I have no idea what cheat code you used.

the Event cheat from Narin's cheatdatabase... i always download the newest version and then i just try the Event cheat.. or Event-item cheat.. don't really know what its called

It only works on certain flash cards, just like a lot of cheats. Half the codes that worked fine on my CycloDS do not work on my EZ Vi.

just by having the key item from the "all items code" won't work..you have to trigger the event..which is to get the item from the green man in any pokemart after you activated the "event codes" you can down the cheats from the database.

Do you have to beat elite four to trigger the darkrai one to work? i used code and got members card off guy in pokemart yet still nothing happens in canclave? door says locked tight and kid is not asleep?

if you manage to go to canalave city then you can try..im not too sure because i use the code after i beat the elite four..you can try to use the event if you manage to go to canalave city

I did try it in canclave but no dice

oh well will try again after elite 4 just got 7th badge

You also need the national dex I believe for the events to trigger.

and Thanks for the tip Narin.... i'm gonna try to get the national dex now... wait.. don't you need to get all Event pokemon to get the dex??

you don't need event pokemon to get national dex..you just need to see all the 210 pokemons in platinum"sinnoh"in order to get ur national dex.excluding the event pokemon..you need the event pokemon to complete your national dex..

shiroitaka good luck on getting ur 8th badge and winning the elite four ! =D

after you seen all 210 pokemon in platinum and you beaten the elite four,

go to prof. rowan and prof oak will meet you there..which you will obtain the national dex.and from there go canalave for darkrai event and ETC.."use the event codes"

ok i gott all event pokemon i wanted... i got the national Dex and plakia and dialga before you can get Arceus!

BTW. for Darkrai you need to visit the house of the sailor(closest one to the boat) in canathingy city(don't remember the name)
and talk to the sleeping kid, and the Mom nex to the kid.
then you get the item in the market or get item first... doesn't matter, then you can get into the Inn i think...
if you still can't enter, go to the sailor after talking to his famaly get the feather thing, wake the kid up, then go to the Inn(hotel or what its called)
