You need THIS to apply the patch to the rom.. Program is quite self explanatory.

I can't get this to work. I start up the game and I name myself and Professor Oak's grandson. I then begin my adventure but it takes me to a black screen. This has happened on VisualBoyAdvance 1.8.0 beta 3 and on my EZ-Flash 3-in-1. I've tried multiple times and the same thing happens every time.

Stupid question, but did you choose boy? If that's not the case, then there may have been a problem when IPS patching the ROM. If you're running Vista or higher, try running the patcher as an Administrator.

Wait, am I supposed to choose girl? I've chosen both regardless.

I tried patching the ROM, which I personally dumped myself with the GBA Backup Tool, with Lunar IPS run as administrator. I got the same results. It may just be a problem with my dump but I somehow doubt it.

EDIT: I tried a different dump and it's working now. Thanks for your help anyway.

Seadra level 50.

Porygon level 35.

Poliwhirl to politoed with moon stone.

Slowpoke to Slowking with water stone.

Eevee to umbreon with moon stone and to espeon with sun stone.

Clamperl to gorebys with sun stone and to huntail with moon stone.

Feebas to milotic with happiness.
