Hey y'all! I made some progress on gender changing and found the cause for the gender switching not working, it's related to clothing, which from a code perspective, is NOT gender agnostic. The way it works, I can't just change the clothing from male to female either, since the clothing IDs are completely different for male and female characters and there is no list of the IDs that I know of (they look like "p2_upb0001_00_blousonoff_normal_r00_c00" in plaintext and or 0x4043c293a8413e3b in the save file (after hashing)).
So to change the gender, I could copy known dress-up data for both male/female characters and then you can just dress up again after loading the save. Although it's suboptimal that's the best I can do for now. Sorry to disappoint!

Slight edit: if anyone has a save with every single clothing item, I could finish this fully

I think only hacked ones bc the Pokemon themselves wouldn't be legal and the checker wouldn't allow them on non modded switches from what others were saying earlier in the thread

Would it be possible to have a cheat that adds pokemon to npc trainers' teams? like making them all have team of 6, and the mons that are filled in are randomized or something

just ran the script and worked like a charm tyvm! Would it be possible to have the rivals gender not tied to the players gender? Would love to have both female player and rival
