Has anyone tried doing ranked battles with a modded switch? I'm asking because I'd like to use one switch to do ranked battles, but both of my switches are modded.

yes exactly, as long as you haven't installed any NSPs or pirated content, and long as you've strictly been using homebrew apps, or cheats then you should be safe (i play on my sysNAND using cheats and various mods, and still can get online fine)

Hi guys. Can someone help me? So I've saved without restoring code and now it won't open.

I've tried the online recovery tool but somehow I'm stuck in the process.
I've made a backup with JKSV (.zip) and transferred the file to my PC. But the thing is, the .zip isn't allowed on the tool... I've uncompressed it, uploaded the "main" file and the site says it worked but I can't seem to put it back to the game...

I tried running both files (main and backup) on the tool, and then put them back into a zip and then using JKSV to restore it but it won't run, so I'm thinking maybe I got it wrong.

How could I do it? Thanks in advance!

The only thing that will get your account banned on a hacked switch is going online while using CFW on sysnand.

Not true. Literally everyone running a Pokemon Trade bot or ACNH Treasure Island are online CONSTANTLY while using CFW on SYSNAND.

And here I was, pretty sure I did play online while on cfw sysnand....at least while playing s/v with friends and/or splatoon 3.
Probably it's my memory failing me.
Good thing yesterday me went the "extra mile" by rebooting in stock before trading for evos lol.

You're not wrong. Pretty much everyone goes online using CFW on SYSNAND and they don't get banned.

The people who get banned are people who let Nintendo servers see their EMUNAND online.

If you're not pirating games or cheating in online games or doing other stupid things, there is minimal risk of going online with your CFW SYSNAND.

like i've said previously i've been using sysnand online since scarlet and violet dropped, and wanted to play with friends while still having access to some cheats like 100% catch, and shiny multiplier (which also effected my friends shiny chances too)

Hi, I added the cheats.. Cheats like shiny, inf money etc works, but when I activate Mew or Alakazam where should it spawn? Because I don't see them.

I'm assuming anyone still asking for cheats isn't aware of the cheat/debug mod?
It's like using these cheats, accept all you have to do is click what you want. It's way easier.
This and PKHex is really all you need when it comes to getting items and Pokémon you want.

The Pokémon encounters work the same way as the cheats; you leave the area and come back so that the Pokémon spawns.
You tick on "Force modify encounter" to activate the encounters and untick it to deactivate.

I think a lot of people are aware, but you can only use that one cheat (some people want other stuff that debug doesn't have) and it doesn't support Eden or Citron. You can only use it for the actual switch and Ryubing Canary.

Mew isn't in the game. You can't spawn Pokemon that don't exist.
And you need to travel to a new wild area before you'll see the pokemon.

Thanks for the code. It looks a little different from the restore code in the main cheats zip file, so I gave it a shot. No luck so far but I'll keep it on while doing some other stuff and hope for the best.


Yeah if all else fails I'd have to restart the game. I probably won't mind doing that when the DLC comes out in a few months (with a speed code on, at least). I did try spawning totodile in the zone in hopes of resetting it but the corrupted spawn locations stay empty.

Did you try to repair it with Azalea's recovery tool?

I just now went and rebooted my switch to stock just to be safe while going online to ranked battles and get the greninjite.
So, just to be completely safe, as long as I deactivate the item cheat, I can safely go online and play ranked?

Yes I know you can activate the "Encounter # Pokemon" and then go to a default alpha location, but that wouldn't be valid for online would it?

I mean I would like to activate an alpha code and then go to their normal location and capture it while alfa.

Is it possible? Does anybody know?

About my "setup", for ZA specifically I only use 100% catch (since I was already "cheating" by save-scumming before all my alphas). Every pokemon I own (both normal and alphas, I have 2 almost full livingdexes) are legit caught in game, only thing I did on pkhex is forcing moves mastery bc I can't be honestly bothered to spend more than 3 second with seeds of mastery and TMs...so on that, I feel pretty safe (I went with safe modifications since USUM).

What I wanted to convey and what "bothered" me was having to switch between cfw and stock when I wanted to play pvp, and knowing that I could avoid that and just stay in cfw it's a nice info

there's not one that fully works. Most of those either crash the game or just simply don't work at all. I'd recommend avoiding all those inf hp cheats.
