Are you not seeing the cheat to activate it, or are you activating the cheat and you can't see it in your inventory?

If it's the latter, have you progressed far enough into the game to unlock Mega Evolution?

If you want to use the encounter codes, you need the "Recovery Code" and "Always Encounter Pokemon" codes as well.

The code is working. That code freezes your inventory, so you won't lose items when you use them, but you can't add new items either.

All of the codes in my repo have been confirmed working multiple times.

Make sure you are not activating them in your inventory, as the inventory will not update while you are looking at it. Additionally, if the codes are not working for you, try making a new cheat file with only the item codes you want to use. There is a possibility that other cheat codes may interfere with the item codes.

I saw a button code elsewhere that can turn off Mega Evolution, but it's not suitable for emulators, so that's why I asked

Ok, so enable all 4 codes and leave the file alone got it. Will be testing and seeing if thedont don't change code works as in it makes me be able to get new items on my bag.

button codes will never work for emulators. they aren't setup to handle stuff like that.
