I also had about 220+ pokemon registered) But whenever I go talk to Professor Laveton to evaluate my research the game crashes (4 times now - even with the cheats disabled). Any way at all to recover this or do I need to copy someone elses savegame?

Ok so I can’t get the spawn Pokédex Pokémon using L & + to work.. I managed to get it work once but then after that it doesn’t work and I missing something so I enable the correct cheats as suggested in the 1st post but nothing

I had the same problem and fixed it using pkhex. After opening your save in pkhex go to the sav tab and click on block data, in the drop down menu for block key click on KCaptureRecords and then export current block. Save the bin file somewhere you'll remember and open it using a hex editor. Change all of the values to 00 and save the file. Import current block, select the edited bin file and export your save. Once loaded up there should be nothing to report to Laventon and you'll be free to leave.

You sure you uploaded the correct problematic save in edizon before you use pkhex but then if you reloaded the save with the 0 indicating you never caught anything unusual it should not be crashing the game if you report to the professor.

If you did not turn on autosave, and do not mind restoring 2 save away. you can up+x+b at bootup menu when you suppose to press a
