Lots of official copies completely freeze at Lugia as well, for some unknown reason.

So even retail copies have freezing issues....how delightful.

See Nintendo, this is what happens when you go overboard with things like this.

Yet I find it funny that the Japanese versions, both of which I own retail cartridges of have no issue what-so-ever.

I hope my retail copy doesn't freeze...I'm not starting for a while.

Works fine on my DSOne, I have 12 badges now.

I only pulled out my DSOne because my DSTT kept failing on me.

Its really simple. First go to the Acekard site (cant remmember it at the moment). THen go to firmware and I would recommend downloading the Akaio 1.6 firmware instead of the official. You download and extract the stuff from inside the file directly to the root of your Acekard and BAM.... Then you just put games on it.
Easy as pie!

slight difference there buddy.

Plus, its officially backed by the supercard team, they made it into an announcement. If it doesn't work, blame them.

can someone help me with this problem?

i have looked around, and apparently its meant to work on cyclods, with minor freezing. the problem is, i load up HeartGold, and it just gets up to the part where OAK is telling you about pokemon, name, gender, etc. then when the character shrinks, it just goes to BLACK SCREEN!

i have tried this with firmware 1.56, 1.58B1, and now 1.58B2, and exact same problem.

Try another dump. I had no problem with 1.58B1, and now, no freeze since 1.58B2 with 4 badges.

okay i just tried it on my m3 simply, and only 1.24 works, it has the same problems on HGSS

I've got this game working on M3DSReal with the latest firmware and it is working fine.

Only problem - the game likes to freeze on a black screen every so often and it's pretty annoying. It's still playable, but I have to save after basically EVERYTHING I do in order to avoid wasting my time and having to go back. Is there any patch/fix for this?

That is EXACTLY the problem that people are having with the game.
That's the AP in action. There are no fixes for most cards. When they are fixed, they will be posted here.

ive been playing on HG on acekard 2i for roughly 18hours have all 16 badges and 60 pokes in my dex and its frozen about 4 times, more than playable on acekard, just save after u don anything important

CycloDS only works 100% with firmware 1.58 BETA2 (well, 95%, like acecard). So please correct the 1.57 firmware.
