No,it crashes on emulators as well,just not too often
It seems to be immune to freezing from entring and exiting houses...
I have done it like...100 times already and no freeze
But it does freeze after about 30 battles/random encounters(which is a lot)

No, the game also freeze in emulator. It's just that the emulator has had a anti black screen code earlier than others.
Otherwise, still no news for anti black screen for the French versions ? : /

my theory is that nintendo put some flash cart crashing code in the ROM.... not to freeze the game but to freeze the flash cart..


this would explain why no freezes on emulators on computer

The game doesn't actually freeze, it just stops all processes.

It's rare, but sometimes it'll happen at the beginning of a battle or during a cutscene. All animations will still play, like your pokeballs will be spinning, but nothing will be happening.

It seems like they're wrapping things in some kind of "if not pirated, continue" structure.

The game doesn't actually freeze, it just stops all processes.

It's rare, but sometimes it'll happen at the beginning of a battle or during a cutscene. All animations will still play, like your pokeballs will be spinning, but nothing will be happening.

It seems like they're wrapping things in some kind of "if not pirated, continue" structure.

no, as no-one has been properly able to isolate the AP coding, and change it.

So.. Everytime when I check my Party Pokémon, and go back to the menu (Cancel), the screen goes black. :'l I'm using M3DS Real with M3 Sakura.

i think it'll be tomorrow in america and for someone to get hold of a working rom & patched before anythig majour will happen although im hoping for a patch tonight/tomorrow morning here in england (yn)

This is new, i think. Hmmm. Is this while your walking around, in battle, out of your bag?

One time, i have a random fight and the game froze but the bouton Action (IN FR) not froze

random battles count as events, so the timer goes down.

is it normal for the emulot to completely crash when there a black screen?

I had differents types of freeze with black screen :
Black Screen without sound, when using doors, stairs.
Black Screen with sound, when using doors, stairs.
Black Screen when leaving a fight, against a trainer or a wild pkmn

And other, without black screen, rarer, always when something must happen :
Just before encounter a wild pkmn (the game freezes on my character running in grass)
Just after a save, when I press B to return to the game, the top screen is frozen and the bottom one is black. (My favorite one)
When I was about to speak to a NPC (Total freeze of the game)
