I guess this will be my Official Request to have my old thread unlocked so I can move my project there

http://gbatemp.net/topic/330688-pokemon-hack-screening-thread/page__view__findpost__p__4306322

I have updated the previous patch with Progress finished to Lenora's Gym.

Again thank you for your time and have a nice evening.

Man, I've been gone for a few days and its complete chaos. -.- Judging from what I've seen Stardustmaster made close to zero progress. Anyone wanna bring me up to speed? :P

Hello, i am working on an translation project of Pokémon B/W 2. (Dutch Translation).

But, as every good translation, we need an customized title screen. I have made an logo (PNG, if that even matters...)
but now i am stuck with the whole changing thing :s...

Can anyone help me?

P.s -> how do you like the new (Dutch) logo?

@Pokemon Hacker Fan - Please stop asking the same questions. You have been told numerous times to look numerous times at the main thread for info like this. Please only ask questions that have to do with the screening thread AND if they haven't been addressed already.

Incase you still don't get it:
Ask for permission to start your own thread if:
  • your post contains all required items listed above;
  • your **ck offers significant changes to the plot and dialogue;
  • your **ck features enhancements to the game that provide true replay value.

WRITE THIS ON THE POST WHERE YOUR HACK IS THEN.
this thread will be full of shit if you and stardust keep posting things that could be posted on your hacks own post.

Seriously? Understand a few things. This topic is already getting long. Some of us have the misfortune pleasure to dig through this thread to screen potential projects. Your easy to solve posts just get in the way. Follow the very simple directions on the first page, and when you're done with that you're to report your post to a moderator to request permission. And there are also a few of us who get the joy of screening these potential projects. You make our job of screening projects difficult but you make it extremely easy when it will come to screening yours.

A hack that is accepted will only be accepted if the project creator proves to the community and to us that he is capable of making rational decisions and has proven that he can work independently. What's not explicitly stated is that the creator has a certain degree of common sense and can follow simple directions. You want your hack unlocked? Then do something about it. Follow the first post, and stop asking us to do everything for you. It REALLY is not that hard. If you can't do that, you really should not be doing this in the first place.

I may have already said this before, but...

In addition to this, make sure you can word your topic as precisely as possible, explaining everything in detail so others know exactly what you're trying to say. If you need help with English or even doubt your own English skills, just ask. There are people here who would willingly help you to transcribe your post in clear, understandable English.

If you don't know if your English isn't clear enough, look at the replies to your posts. Does anyone ever need any part of your posts clarified (i.e. if everyone asks what you mean by xyz and you believe xyz is more than clear enough)?

I say this multiple times because it's a very important fact. If I can't understand what you're trying to say about your hack, how can I know if it interests me?

That's a good point. What I will NOT tolerate is someone who claims they need pointless help or that their hack is lacking due to their failed mastery of the English language. Your hacking skill and prowess should outweigh that part.

It's okay to ask if someone could help edit an entire post to get the English clear enough for other people to understand because you don't know English well enough. It's not okay to ask if someone could help hack everything you want to happen into the game because you don't know how to hack.

Right?
