ROM Hack Pokémon Hack Screening Thread

Hello gbatemp users i am wordering if anyone can help with my sprites as i cannot do them and need help anyone wanting to help pm me please

1. If you can't make the sprites for your 'Hack' which you said will feature all new characters/sprites then your project doesn't have much hope...
2. This isn't a place to ask for help! It says it on the front page and it's been said on the thread more than once!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When making these hacks, don't make promises you can't keep. You're hack will need a lot of new sprites. Battle sprites, Back sprites, Overworlds and mugshots. If you can't hack the overworlds (Which are probably the easiest to do) Then how do you expect to do the rest of them?

i tried but everytime it makes them blurry or barcodes

Okay pm me the sprites of the original and the new sprites you're inserting and I'll see if I can help you.

i had to delete them but i can tell you which people to do and what to do to them

Ahaha I'm not gonna do them for you ;L Edit the sprites then send me them when they're done and i'll see what's wrong with them and why they're not working.

no you dont have to do them all just slightly change them like a guild like just like put lines and ill fill in the blanks

Ok, I read through the entire thread. I guess I'll post the links to my hacks. The first, UnovaHGSS, I believe merits its own thread. I only have a short Alpha released, but I'm working hard on the game and plan to release a much more complete (and unique storyline) version before the end of the year (spoiler: you'll start in Cerulean! )
The Alpha currently has every 1st, 2nd, and 5th gen Pokemon programmed into the game, including overworld sprites, movesets, etc.

The second is a simple hack that replaces Lyra with Kris in HGSS (a few more minor updates to do, quite close to being finished). I don't mind if the 2nd one gets merged/deleted, and the like, but whatever you all think is best.

The UnovaHGSS Should be fine as far as my opinion goes.
Not sure about the Lyra/Kris one but should be fine, maybe if it gets locked you could have it just as an extention to the Unova HGSS thread

Legendary Groudon and Kyogre return but which one will win this time.​

Become the hero and stop N from taking over.​

You must fight to stop N(sprite is now Ethan) before he can capture Kyogre. You must catch Groudon to help save the world. with new friends and gym leaders you must fight to defeat plasma's leader. Gary has taken over team plasma and is fed up of being in Ash's shadow so with the help of Dani and Cheren you must fight plasma( sprites are now team rocket) and work your way through old gym leaders who want to test you. Also Brock has joined Gary and he is now the shadow triad. Can you stop Gary and his plans before they take over?

Not all things will be made to 100% as I'm not changing the complete script or Pokemon as I want a mixture but not all 493 to be available so I can see what trainers are capable of. There will mostly be Hoenn Pokemon but Ash will use Kanto Pokemon as will Gary.​

I will keep updates going weekly to let everyone know how its going.​

This is one of my best hacks so far and i think people may be impressed with it.​

Trainer editing: 40%​

Screenshots will be added when they become available as at the moment I have no emulator but they shall be on within a couple of days.​

It is fixed I just tested it! You can't just decide you wanna make another account..
Edit: And take out the sprite changing part cause you've already said to me you won't be able to do them. Don't make promises you can't keep..
