ROM Hack Pokemon Hack question

Has anybody heard of any projects in the making to include the 6th gen starters or legendaries, Thanks in advance.

I've never seen a working project where people port pokemon back to older generations.

I've seen hacks to include ALL the pokemon available in the OLDER Roms, but not the other way around. I don't think the Devs leave open pokemon data like that in the games.

And new pokemon tend to use new moves and abilities which would have to be programmed into the older games (as they're new sets of rules), which would be a lot of work for a ROM hack maker.

Something simple like a sprite hack

Yeah those replaced existing pokemon and changed the name/sprite, it's still got the old stats/moves/abilities.

no, pokemon x and y is used 3d models, not flat sprite on 3D like on BW2. so no, is should someone create 2d version of that pokemon.

People have made pretty good 2d sprites, check deviantart.

Exactly, i'm really only looking for sprites, theres move editors for rom hacking too.

Are there even world-editing tools for Black and White 1 and 2? As far as I knew, nobody had even bothered to try with gen 4 games and onward, since the worlds are 3D.

I still remember when BW was first announced, every Tom, Dick and Harry/wannabe romhacker went to incorporate Zorua and Zoroark into their substandard hack. And pretty much did only that....
