Is there anyone thats able to connect to the mystery gift on pokemon diamond because i keep getting the error of the service has been discontinued even though i have the dns set up

which dns are you using? there are a couple different unofficial servers.

You might have a look at instructions and troubleshooting steps for altwfc and see if these might help

For instance you might need to erase nintendo wfc configuration first, and more importantly, if you are playing on a DSi or 3DS, you need to set the DNS within the game, not withing the console's internet settings. DS games use their own internal settings and dont use the console's.

(Exception being for DSi-enhanced games, which can use the console's built-in wifi connections for WPA and such.)
