Gaming Pokemon Diamond cheats

All the cheats appear fine but the new camera angle and character mod don't show up. Could it be the CHEAT.DAT?
Also, I use ARCM and got the cheats from the gbatemp xml.

the player modifier works but then i was at the 8th gym and then i talked to the trainer who looked like a pikachu and WHAM BAM SAVE DATA CORRUPTED!

i suggest using it outside. not in a gym.
