I'm about to breed some Pikachu's. Any idea how many steps are needed for a Pichu egg? And where can I get a Light Ball?

I can breed scythers and poliwags if anyone is interested. Im sure I can breed more, but those are 2 of the less common ones I have been trading online.

I am looking for basically anything I don't have, but especially pokemon from the other games, as Diamond is the only one I have gotten very far in. I am willing to donate scythers or poliwags though if you don't have anything I am looking for.

to breed, you need a female of the pokemon you want the egg to hatch as, and a male of the same egg group. Serebii.net has much more in depth info that that.

^ Breeding guide. Serebii has ALOT of info, but it's not very high quality.

The guide is for RSEFRLG, but it's basically the same. The Day Care in DP is in Solaceon town.

A few important things not mentioned -
-The Everstone. It has a secondary effect which gives you a 50% chance of passing on your Pokemon's nature when it breeds. It SHOULD work in DP. Give it to your Ditto or the female.
-Pokemon with the traits Magma Armor or Flame Body, such as Magcargo. These reduce the number of steps needed to hatch your egg by half.
-If you want to know the egg group of a DP Pokemon, try their Pokedex or Veekun's Dex.

Wow, I see you have bulbasaur and charmander etc? Very nice, can you breed those and let me have one?

97% of all pokemon can breed with Ditto... so yes.. it can breed with Ditto and it will pop out a Chimchar.
baby poke are pokemon like... pichu, cleffa, philone.. etc.

What do you want your Chimchar to be? Naive subtracts Sp. Def. which doesnt sound too good =/
The other two are just fine =]

Chimchar has more Physical moves than Special moves so.. Adamant.. if you can...
