Misc Pokemon Black/White Pokeshifter, Transfer Machine

I preordered both Pokemon Black/White, these will be my first pokemon games since R/S. In order to get Zorua/Zoroard, I asked my cousin with a pirated version of HeartGold to obtain the beasts for me at Gamestop. My question is do you guys know whenever a legitimate copy of Pokemon Black/White will work with a pirated version of Heartgold for both the Relocator/Transfer Machine and Pokeshifter/Poke Transfer?? I figured that get some starters from him as well. Thx, for any friendly post that do not blame me for my cousin. I hope guys that you can help me.

I am not sure because Poke Transfer and Transfer Machine use DS download before turning on the gameand that's what worries me so much. I do not know whenever its going to recognize the flashcard with HeartGold or not. I've tried to find it out but was unable to find any info on it. I was hoping that someone on this tried it but it does not seem like anyone tried it yet. I want to cancel my pre-orders if I can't pokeshift them because getting them all trough trades will hard as hell.

If the Transfer Device (PokeShifter) uses DS Download Play, you're shit outta luck.

You're gonna have to get a retail cart, and trade those Pokes to the retail cart.

...You got to be kidding me.

Pokemon Black and White are AMAZING. You have to play them. Besides, just buy a used copy of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl for, like, 10 bucks. They'll work fine.

All this trouble over 2 Pokemon shouldn't deter you from buying the games.

to tell the truth I wanted to pokeshift more than 2 pokes. I wanted to trade every legend as well as every Pokemon in their first evolution. I figured I could do it since u can copy saves on Flashcarts

Maybe I'll buy Platinum(because it's an enhanced version) and HeartGold( For some reason I always preferred Gold over Silver when they first came out) to add to them to my collection and then just pokeshift all pokes. If I do that then I'll have to catch lots of pidgeys

Can I get pokesav event shiny dogs/celebi and transfer it from any HG/SS/D/P/Pt ROM to a retail Pearl and transfer it to my retail black? will it work?

The only other way would be to use PokeGen and save all your old pokemon as .pkm files and then load them into Pokemon Black/White with the location listed as Transfer Machine/PokeTransfer.

Don't know, I haven't tried. I'll try in a sec and report back though.

I'm about 95% sure they'll work. My friend has tried it, but he's not all that credible.
