Both ROMs are downloaded, a Micro SD card has been freshly fromatted, fresh install of AKAIO 1.8.9z and the latest loaders (at the time of this post) 3/7/2012.
Now running tests on Pokemon White 2 and Pokemon Black 2...
AMAZING DISCOVERY!
In Pokemon Black 2 you can bypass the Juniper AP by using the following setting on AKAIO 1.8.9z with the 3/7/2012 loaders:
ENSURE THE SETTING: BYPASS ANTI-PIRACY IS SET TO "ENABLE"
Bugs (+ means solutuons/discoveries)
+I am able to save and load the game with no problem.
AP Report: (+ means solutions/discoveries)
+With the Bypass Anti-Piracy setting set to ENABLE it prevents the Juniper Intro Anti-Piracy from triggering!
Attempting to give a Pokemon an Item crashes the game!
Attempting to open the summary screen crashes the game!
No EXP gain after battles. The AP triggers after a Pokemon is fainted and skips the EXP calculation event.
*! After attempting to open the summary screen, it appears that the game will refuse to open the save file on a DSi but works fine on a DS Phat.
After Bianca gives you the rundown about the Pokemon Center, opening the Pokemon Menu and closing it will crash the game.
*This is a joint anti-piracy that only occurs on the DSi and 3DS. When the crash occurs, somehow the DSi and 3DS has an ability in firmware to set a flag on the game's save data the the 3DS and DSi can only read that prevents save data from being loaded. This does NOT occur on the DS Phat.
UPDATE!
The joint anti-piracy somehow updates the ROM and counter-fixes the Juniper AP trigger!
Because the Summary Crash and Save Game failure are linked, the Summary and Give Item "bugs" have been moved to anti-piracy discoveries.
