Im guessing his flashcart isn't compatible with 3ds and his security isn't compatible with ds
So his only option for online is buying the game and playing on 3ds

I don't understand why people just won't change their security settings.. It's very easy to do, and I can't see why you want to have WPA2 security settings..

And? I've had WEP for like 2-3 years and i'm doing fine.

I was on WEP, but ever since I switched to fibre, cisco prompted me to use WPA2.

I took 1 whole hour to set up with Cisco on the other side. I never feel like meddling with the Wi-Fi again.

I wasn't going to sit around fiddling with "higher security" I just wanted to play pokemon on my Ds/3Ds online so I had the resolve to fix that.

It's as simple as WEP + MAC filtering. I've used this combination for about 1 year and a half.
