ROM Hack Pokemon AP/patch threads..

I wouldn't be surprised if it were under 1 hour this time. You really see all the noobs and R4 users come out of the woodwork around the time of a Pokemon release, lol.

I've got a feeling there might be something of the AP linked to the infrared thing in the cart (the real one).
Would it be possible that a small subroutine looks at the power usage or maybe a certain connection to detect the IR device.
and create a crash if it doesn't detect it?

Seriously though, this will all stop once all manufacturers have made firmware updates, aside from the R4 users.

Pity I already have Japanese retail versions of both, and both are retail. Still I feel some pity for you all out there.

Poor Toni though, he must have less than 1/9001th of his sanity left. If he wants to he can borrow my arm-cannon tomohawk thing.

This is the sort of stuff he is having to delete, I can see how Toni and the rest of the Staff are getting really Annoyed, there is really no point in posting if your just going to spam, the reason for the thread was to stop people making stupid threads about AP and to stop the threads being overrun with spam just like this post, if you feel the need to post these then go somewhere else as we don't want you here. I like many other like to see what threads are being posted in on the front page to see what takes our fancy the see if we can contribute USEFULLY. These Pokemon threads are just appearing ( and thankfully disappearing ) and a stupidly high rate.
