Homebrew Pokemon Anti Cheat *READ THREAD*

It's been announced that there is going to be 'anti cheat' for pokemon, meaning that it is going to be much harder to hack in the new pokemon ultra moon and ultra sun, but I don't really understand how they are going to get it to work because for things like pkhex it generates pokemons that look exactly like legitimate pokemon, what does everybody think about this?

Could you link that "announcement"? Havnt heard of it. Anyway, people will always find a way to make legal mons from programs. There is just no way for them to tell if they are legal or not, cause PKhex use the same codes as the games.

Well yeah what i understand is that is an interna.\l hack checking tool. Again, i dont think we would have any problem with it. As long as the hacked mons have the same as regulars and checks whatever it needs in game, they would be fine.

And yes, I agree I don't think that this would make it a big problem to still use stuff like Pkhex, only if you keep the stats normal, for example giving them the right moves and not giving something like a water pokemon, a move that he wouldnt normally be able to obtain.

Yeah, just reached Mount Lanalika, so about to do E4. Excited to catch the legends/tapus, ultra beasts, and then the rest of the totem stickers. Also the Rainbow Rocket stuff whenever that starts?

**NEW UPDATE** **READ**

At the time of this thread, pkhex does work with pokemon ultra moon but you need to have the updated pkhex because its files inside are a bit different to other pkhexs because of the 'anti cheat' system but pkhex has figured it out and it works but I'm not sure if it jus works cos for the leaked pokemon but it should work because the leaked pokemon should be the same as the pokemon ultra moon and sun, when it comes, I'm not sure if you can generate pokemons but you should be able to but at the moment items are confirmed.

I don't think a public release is available although don't quote me as I'm not sure. Though, building the latest commit from source is possible. Do consider it's still in testing overall not complete usage

I doubt it but I hope this 'anti cheat' method works especially in tournaments, god forbid people actually want to play the game, maybe they should separate the cheaters and genuine players. LOL if that happened the cheaters would make a fuss because they definitely don't want to be called a cheater.

I doubt they would seperate, the cheaters and the genuine people, if they knew who the cheaters were they would jus ban them or get off their cheated data, because if they seperated the cheaters and the genuine players it will seem like they don't mind if people cheat and they encourage cheating and more people would do it because their are no risks they jus get sent to another served with more people that have the same interest as them
