Pokemon Sleep sounds like a fun little gimmick! Not that wacky of an announcement too, considering Nintendo was pushing gamification of healthy lifestyle since mid-2000s (with all the fitness games, pedometers, etc.)

its basicly cloud storage for phones(poke bank) but u can store pokemon from 3ds,switch and go and trade with other people

Yeah, I completely agree with you. None of the devices that I currently own would be able to even run the app (Nintendo apps refuse to launch on Jailbroken iDevices), and the phone I am getting does not run Android or iOS. So free alternative apps are basically the only option for me at this point.
