Hello everybody, I am currently working with my team on a Dutch version of Pokémon Black and White. I know there already is someone busy with this, but he's not far and it looks like he stopped translating. So, that's why we started!
I'm currently very far in progress. If you want to check out how far, see the spoilers below or check out our website: pokemonzwartwit.servegame.com

The files we have currently translated:

    Main text:

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Also, we can receive any kind of help.
Thanks for reading and helping everybody! We will keep you up-to-date in this topic..
Soon an Alpha version will come (Demo). We will try to do this between now and 1 December 2010. With Christmas you can play this whole game in Dutch we hope so!
The complete game will be free, but donations will be accepted of course! [IMG] Thanks for reading everybody!

Just trying to help out on your first post, when you said this:
And if you didn't mean to add spoilers, I would recommend doing this anyways because it makes the post easier to read.

Agreed. When I read that last part of the OP I was thinking, Seriously?! Someone is just going to get a copy of it and then redistribute it, or possibly no one is going to buy it at all.

Sorry for sounding blunt, but that is most likely going to be what happens. :/

@SOS-Rens Thanks! Now I have a question. Do you know anyone (or maybe yourself) who can change the logo and the "PUSH THE START BUTTON" text in the Main/Title Screen? That's because I want it to be replaced with my own Dutch logo. [IMG] Thanks again!

Nope sorry... But you can try Tile Molester (That's a program that makes it able to edit pictures in games)

I know there's never been a complete Dutch Pokémon translation, but hey: For everything is a first time. And this will be the first Dutch Pokémon game ever. You really can count on me.

So are you translating from Japanese to Dutch or from the English patch translation to Dutch?

Both. I can do a little bit Japanese (with a little bit help of Google Translate too), but mainly I am translating it from English to Dutch from the projectpokemon.org patch. [IMG]

Alright, although I wouldn't recommend using Google Translate. If you look at the other recent threads you will see why.

EDIT: I would also give credit to the Project Pokemon translation team if you are using their translation to do yours.

Yes, that's why I also just use small Japanese words which I know and some with Google Translate. Eng > Dutch will be completely translated all by my own (and some others) though. And about your edit: yes, of course I will give credit to them. I didn't forget that. If they weren't there I wasn't busy translating to Dutch right now.. [IMG]
