Hacking PLease help me

I don't know if this has be posted already but if so or if not can someone tell me how to run save game extractor

I downloaded it and everything but there is no metaxml with it so i can't use it as a wii homebrew app.

I don't know what to do, if you have any help please post it .

Have you placed any other app in your SD..??? wel this is exactly the same:

SD:/apps/savegame_extractor/boot.dol

When you run the app in HBC just insert the Game Disc in the Wii and the app does the job...!!!

Ya , I know how to puts apps abnd everything on my sd card lol. but when i put this one in nothing loads up on my hbc

In the file (app) is save-extractor_V2.0.dol and save-extractor_V2.0.elf

Should there be more or is that it ?

you definatley renamed the .dol to boot.dol, HBC wont recognize it if you dont, and also HBC doesnt load most .elfs anymore mate so best to jus use the dol so your setup should be.

in the new HBC 1.0.1 the .elf files don't work anymore, and if you know how to put the apps in your SD, you also know that all of the apps have to be each one in its own folder and renamed as boot.dol, right..??

one more question . Does save extractor work on burnt wii games.? Cause i just loaded it and tried to get the save game fron my mkwii but then it said error {ret-1}. What could that be or does it even read burnt games?

not to sure mate, try a retail game and see if ya get the same error..

tried with retail and worked. still a no go with burnt tho ;( o well ty anyways

for the burnt games doesn't work unless you have a ModChip, but you can use the Gamma Launcher and change the settings of the rebooter option to "Nocopyflags: ON" then just press B and copy the savegame from the Wii Settings like you would do it with any other...!!
