I recently realized i got a fake R4 but i updated to version 1.18 and my ds didnt brick i felt a chip under sticker too

Buying the R4 was a bad move, the firmware is no longer being managed and you'll run into a lot of game problems that can't be fixed with an ARM7 swap. I suggest you buy a DSTT from DX if you care at all, it's only 6 bux.

I think that recently they started getting real ones, I'll have another look at the forums.


edit: well, it seems they still are getting fakes, but anyways, they still work fine as long as you use that patch on the firmware.

DX is full of fakes, it's the only reason they can go so low without going backrupt.
