Bragging moment. A certain Chavosaur just got his Email to be a part of the Playstation now Beta streaming service.
So far, here are the games available to stream on PS3 only
Here's how it works. I pick a game and it takes me to this screen
As of right now it's free d course, but as we can see here, the rental image shows that it can be rented for a period of 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month. I assume this means there will be different prices for each option in the future, but as for how much I'm not sure.
Once I rent the game, I select duration
And then confirm purchase
Afterwards you have the option to purchase other games, or immediately start the game
Once you start your connection will be tested
And finally the game will boot up.
Judging by quality of the stream, although it's not a full retail title on par with uncharted or something it ran surprisingly well over wifi on my 50mb/s connection. I noticed no input lag and only minor choppiness in the stream when attempting to use other services on my internet such as YouTube and downloading things.
Also surprisingly trophy support is already added in for these games as well~
If anybody else has been able to test it go ahead and post your experience here!
EDIT: I apologize for shit quality pics ill attempt to fix them
