Hacking playing with friends on cfw

hey, I want to dump my pokemon x cartridge and turn it to cia so I will not have to insert it to play, but will I be able to play with my friends on the cia version?

Yeah, with a CIA version it'll play the same as a cartridge would. Just remember to install the updates if you want to play online ^^

@roei in addition to that, you can use some save-backing up app to make a backup of your cartridge save, and restore it onto the cia version to keep your save file. (I back mine up, use nintendo's official save transfer tool, then restore it onto the cart so it's on both)
