Gaming Playing romhacks on PSP's snes emulator

I have a PSP 1000 + 6.60 pro c2 (256GB) with a SNES emulator (SNEStyl9x) and I would really really like to play Hyper metroid (and other great hacks) on the go!
Is there somehow a way (a tutorial) to get this working?

all you need to do is use lunar ips to patch the rom and put it on your memory stick the same as any normal rom once patched it should load up fine i have quite a few rom hacks on mine
