Hi All,

Is there a good hack for playing video files off USB drive?
I already have USB loaders installed to load games and such (GX, etc)-
but as I have tons of videos (divx, mpeg, xvid) - is there a simple hack that would do the work for these video formats (preferably over ntfs filesystem rather than wbfs).
I've seen MPlayer CE, but they didnt mention all the video formats they support- plus i'd love to get a recommendation if it's the best around nowadays.

thanks!

WiiMC is supposed to be the best player around these days. I can't give my opinion on it because I haven't tried it.

WiiMC is definately the way to go.

I've got my Hard disc partitioned in two, half games half movies WiiMC has played everything I've thrown at it and best of all it'll also stream from your laptop/pc HD perfectly, only problem I had was that under Windows 7 I had to share a specific folder ie "movies" rather than the whole drive. Plenty of help in their forum.

I bought another wii for my other TV because WiiMC is so much more convenient than a dvd player.
A lot of the movies I have are mov/mp4 from my ipod and it plays them as well
