Hacking Playing a split PS2 iso?

I r=split Grandia III with ps3splitter and I put the parts on my HDD. When I click Grandia III in Multiman and then run the game in XMB, I go to PS2 mode but I stay in a black screen. I it the game's fault or something I did?

Is your PS3 backwards compatible? If not, that game might not be supported with Cobra. By the way, what CFW do you use?

It's fully backwards compatible. Rebug 4.81.

Hm. And you've split and run other PS2 isos without issue before, or is it just on this game that this happens?

What is another PS2 game that's 4gb? I need to test another game.

Another solution would be to get the whole file in one piece to the PS3 through a FTP connection. I thought I did so with Final Fantasy X in the past.

If you're copying it to your internal HDD then it can't be split. It can only be split if you copy it to an external HDD, but the PS3 can't run PS2 from external HDD & so multiman would then copy the whole thing to your internal HDD and merge it when you try to run it.

As others suggest, don't split & use ftp.
