PS1/2 Playing a PS2 game from a pendrive/external HD

The title speaks for itself, How can I play an ISO-file from a pendrive or external HD.
I have a MC with FreeMCBoot installed. The version of my PS2 is SCHP-39004.

So
1) How can I get my PS2 to read the pendrive or HD
2) How can I make my ISO-file playable from the pendrive or HD

USB loading is slow, I think it's USB 1.0 speed. Not good for playing games from usb.

Burn to disc or install an internal HDD. Don't forget you have to convert the ISO if burning to a disc.

I think there is also a way to play the games over a network connection, but you will need the Ethernet adapter if you want to go that route.
