Hi, my friend has given me 14 .rar files and he says that they can be used to play Super Mario Galaxy 2---I asked why it isn't an .iso file and he says it's been "scrubbed." I know that he means that it's been WiiScrubbed, hooray. My question is, what am I supposed to do to be able to play this? I've just got 14 RAR files, and they all contain .iso images, but when I burn one of hem burned to a disc, it doesn't even work----it can't even be patched with Wanin's IOS patcher! You guys are probably going to call me a n00b, but let's face it I probably am, so can someone tell me what to do to play it?

EDIT: Made a mistake in title---"are" not "re"...

Are they called "blah.rar1, blah.rar2" etc? If they are, one of them should be called "blah.rar". Extract this one, and it'll take data from each of the .rar files and put it into one .iso. then burn that and you're laughing.

If not, I have no idea

Nope, they're called "WD_SMG2_partXX.rar" (XX is the part #)

QUOTE(TRushInfo @ Jun 13 2010, 03:36 PM) wow, this is basic stuff here. If you dont know how to get the file from the rars then prehaps you should READ before looking like super noob

Well then, can you at least try pointing me in the right direction please instead of calling me a n00b? Everything I google and search on GBAtemp comes up with stuff irrelevant to my criteria.

Just click in any of the Rar files, right clock, and extract. It doesn't need to be the first RAR file like 00 or 01. Yo can extract the file from the 14th part if you wanted to just as long as all the parts are there

BTW I've tried extracting the first file before with WinRAR before and it never worked, so I tried posting this to get some other info-----I know more about this stuff than you think, you know...

EDIT: Wait a sec, my fucking friend only gave me 13 parts---he forgot the ninth part!!!

So I think I found my problem----my friend only gave me 13 parts, he forgot the 9th part...so if I have all 14 parts and then extract ANY ONE of them, it'll be a good ol' SMG2 game aka good .iso file? BTW the extension is ONLY .rar---not .partXX.rar!

(BTW sry for double post)
