Hacking Planning on upgrading

I want to upgrade my wii to 4.0 using the wan. updater
i have

hbc
dvdx
cios corp
rev 11
is there a chance to get bricked i have preloder

I had the same config as you and I used Waninkoko's updater and everything worked fine but just to be safe install BootMii FIRST as Boot2 if you can otherwise as IOS and do a NAND backup

It took me a couple of times to get it working the way I wanted. I didn't want to lose the disc channel that I had, I followed the Ultimate 4.0 guide, floating around on here and it was great. I suggest printing it out and going through it step by step.

Make sure your hacks.ini is the newest one for the 4.0 menu, Someone had posted it on here and theres also the correct version on wiibrew.org.
