Hacking planning on getting and acekard

ok so im planning to get an acekard..i know there are 2 so i need some opinions first before getting one..


first things first,
1. where is a reliable site that i can order one online?

2. which one is better the acekard 2 v2.1 or the acekard 2i?

if i get the acekard 2i:

3. does the acekard 2i work flawlessly on the dsi for those who have it?

4. is the acekard 2i compatible with the nds lite?

5. will the acekard 2i also work for the future release of the NTSC DSi?

1. Order from Focalprice or dealextreme, though the shipping could take about 3 weeks, they are the cheapest by far.

2. The 2.1 and the i are exactly the same feature wise.

3. Currently the acekardi works without any problems on the DSi

4. Yes, the DSi card is compatible with the lite/phat

5. Impossible to answer at the current time, as Nintendo could update the firmware making the current cards useless.

Short answer: don't buy an Acekard2i unless you have a DSi.

ok not getting a acekardi when not having a dsi is alright..but what do you think?

im getting the dsi when it comes out anyways on april 5th so what if i get the acekardi and if it doesnt work on the dsi it will always work on the nds lite like you said..so i dont think it would render the kart useless..thats just my opinion though..

If you plan on getting a DSi and want to take the gamble, go for it, maybe it will work, maybe it won't. It's only like $7 out the hole, so it's not too bad of a risk.

if you cant wait, buy a ak2.1, and once you buy your dsi, nin could update so aki doesnt work, and by that time, there might be better carts, and as far as i know, the aki will not run DSi only roms/dsware only games released that work on ds lite/phat
