Gaming Pikmin 3

Surprisingly, I didn't see a Pikmin 3 thread.

I'm about 10 days in. I screwed up and didn't strategize properly so some parts took longer than expected. In a few areas, there's what appears to be a triangular cardboard box, almost like a ramp. It's up high so I tried throwing the yellow Pikmin to create some action but nothing happens. What are those ramp things and how do I interact with them?

You just have to walk around and explore areas and you eventually come to those boxes. You get your pikmin to push it off and it makes a ramp for quicker access to areas.

Yup, figured out I had tons of unexplored sections. All solved.
