Hacking Pikmin 2 wont work

ive tried the Jap version just released on the wii only to get a grey screen and a non stop vibrating wii mote, and then i tried a backup of the gamecube usa version of pikmin 2 and nothing loads..

(using the latest softmii.. ive had no issues running other out of region games, only pimin 2 wont load in either gc or wii backup form)

any ideas?
