I was wondering, is there anything like Picross where I can just make drawings by filling in cubes?

There are some Illust games, which are Japan-only Picross games. Also, there's a game called Color/Colour Cross, which is Picross DS in colour.

You should give them a try. You don't need to understand japoanese and it looks really, really cool.

I maintained a list some times ago, but maybe I missed some of them.
The number might not match your own numbering (gbatemp/advancsene/DS Scene)

Some of them are picross in color (not talking about the "3295 ColourCross game"), it's another logic to solve them and very nice to try.
I think ColourCross don't have empty area, so it's not a picross logic.
a good colored picross is "Illust Logic DS + Colorful Logic".
