I started with picross 3d and just finished the "easy" section... great game. But all ready with the first puzzle in the "normal" section it was damn difficult!

Now my question.... are all puzzles solvable or do you have to guess sometimes??

Picross and Sudoku puzzles shouldn't ever have to be guessed on. Look closer for clues and you should be able to solve the puzzle relatively easily.

Not really. I'm halfway into the normal mode and I've never had to guess anything. There's always something you overlook every now and then, just double check and you'll find it.

also my first picross.... for easy i did also not have to guess... well, i will take a look at the other puzzles of normal mode... maybe they go better

Thought so you never had to guess.... maybe it went wrong somewhere

Too everyone who's struggling with Picross 3D, try the regular first.
At first I didn't understand, now in Picross 3D, I solved all the easy with no errors in 1 day.

I completed every puzzle (with perfects) and they are definitely solvable, like Exbaddude said start with regular picross (which is 2D) it really helped me in 3D.

One good tip about 3D: if you see any "floating" blocks then smash them to smithereens because nothing is ever there.

I didnt like the regular one much, I've tried it several times, now 3D I really enjoy and can get into easily.

Pitman, thats a great tip about the floating boxes

This. For novice users (no offence), some guesswork is common, but puzzles like this can usually be done with absolutely no guesswork.

I can confirm guys. I finished the easy section and tutorial with all perfects.

Keeping in mind that every puzzle should be solvable (thanks to the replies here) i finished level 1 from the normal section also with all perfects

Unless I am misunderstanding, that's not true. For rows with a number in a circle or a square, you very often need to use the floating blocks.

if you see any "floating" blocks without any numbers on any face then smash them to smithereens because nothing is ever there.
