i have troubling with matching the image.png with roms because pfba will not show if i put extention on image as .md.png. it would b much easier to know what rom match to image.png if u know what i mean. instead of renaming whole.

Where do you get the png files from?

Hi guys
I installed pfba in my psvita. the problem is that I don't see any cheat mode menu in the unibios screen. can you help me? Thanks

Hi, I really love this emulator on the Switch!
I have the arcade roms working and the Megadrive roms too.
With the arcade roms I managed to get the previews working, but I can't get the Megadrive previews to show.
Can anybody point me to where I must place them and how they should be named?
I have read through all 25 pages, but could not find the answer.

Add "md_" to the beginning of the filename. All previews go in the same folder.

I'm pretty sure I have tried that, but they don't show up.
The strange thing is that for example:with Shadow Dancer the version of Megadrive, it does show a preview but that is the wrong one. When I select the Meagdrive version it shows the Arcade preview...

I'm going crazy about those previews of Megadrive...
I have in the folder switch>pfba>previews the file shdancer.png witch is the preview from the arcade version and I have in the same folder the file md_shdancer.png witch is the preview of the Megadrive version.
But with both games I see the preview of the arcade version...please advise....

Im not using the latest version and previews work for me. Not at home right now though, can someone try an earlier version to see if it fixes it?

Earlier version of pfba with the seperate system folders will work with previews using prefix such as md_

The latest version of pfba needs to have the prefix removed to show the previews but this creates a problem with some games because the same game is available on multiple systems, once you remove the prefix you're left with romname.png

Eg
2020bb.png (Neo geo arcade preview)
md_2020bb.png (mega drive preview)

You can't remove the prefix because the file name is already taken for the arcade version.

Your right, just fixed that. It will be OK in the next release, thanks for the reports!

I'm having a hell of a time getting pFBA to recognize my Genesis ROMs. I have the full no-intro romset for Genesis and I've tried putting them in the "roms" folder with no success. I've also tried putting them in /switch/pfba/roms/megadrive with no success. I've tried unzipping them with no success. I've tried leaving them zipped with no success. They are in .md format. They are named properly. But they just don't work.

Can I get some help?
