I thought the day would never come but Petit Computer has finally been released in Europe exactly 53 weeks after the NA launch. I've personally had a lot of but with this portable DSi/3DS dev-kit despite it being somewhat slowish and inheriting the problems of on old language like BASIC. It succeeds in what it sets out to do though: making game creation really fun and accessible for young people and programming beginners.

Instead of creating a new development thread, I would like to point out tempers to the old (and still good) thread right here. Or you could just talk about it here if you want. :P Have fun.

Petit Computer (Gamebridge) - €7.99/£7.19/800 Points
Petit Computer is an easy-to-use programming tool that lets you create everything from music, to images, to your very own original games using an adapted version of the classic BASIC programming language. Whether you have experience of BASIC, or are a complete novice, you will find that Petit Computer will give you the skills you need to create your own programs. You can select commands and run programs using the Nintendo DSi/Nintendo 3DS Touch Screen, and you can even share your creations via Nintendo Network, allowing you to collaborate with other users. You can also create special QR Code(r) patterns containing your programs that other users can scan using their Nintendo DSi/Nintendo 3DS system camera. Petit Computer is a perfect companion for anyone who has ever wanted to delve deeper into the world of computer programming.

Damn it you beat me to the punch on submitting this. But that aside this is good news for those of us that have bought it simply because there will be more people programming for it. Can not wait to see what the Europeans come up with. On a side note the Official contest also ended to day and there are some good programs any one with Petit Computer should go check out.

Thanks for replying. I hope some actual real-life Europeans start showing some interest too. :P

Just in case this thread dies down (imagine that :P) here are some PTC forums that are very active.

That's about it. There is a good deal of quality homebrew already out there so even if you have no interest in programming, Petit Computer is still a good deal for 8 pounds/euros.
