i think ill be good without a9lh
my 3ds stays in sleep mode all the time anyway

plus i just dont think a 10 second boot time difference bothers me much

The new loader which has been released in the past couple days will open way more options for the A9LHax.

It lets you edit just one thing(bootloader) that can patch many others functions as System modules and applications, as well as having region free by default.

I was using menuhax + ReiNand before I bit the bullet with A9LH + AuReiNand. With menuhax, sometimes the console didn't boot properly and I had to reinsert the mSD to get it to work. I don't have that problem with A9LH (at least so far).

In terms of the process of installing A9LH, it was a lengthy, but straightforward, process. Bricking is almost impossible if you follow the instructions carefully.

The steps are so clear, it's really impossible to brick unless you start skipping stuff or you have a random chance event like a backup getting corrupted (which you can mitigate easily by making several dumps and comparing their hashes).

Installing a9lh is like following a recipe for a whole banquet where the steps are like, "cut a 2cm hole in the top left corner of the bag of rice flour and pour 18.5 grams into a blue 30cm mixing bowl and stir counterclockwise 6 times". Very in depth, clear, and easy to follow even if you don't know how to cook. Just long and tedious. Beginners should have nothing to fear but possibly using up a day of their weekend.
