Gaming Persona 2 Eboot black screen

I have an eBoot of persona 2(eternal punsihment) and it boots fine, shows the PSX logo, then goes to a black screen.

I am also having trouble with persona 1

Persona 2 lags so bad on all the PoPs I've tried it's not worth even playing. I'm sorry about the black screens though.

if you don't know already to change the POP's loader start a PSX eboot and hold 'R' and it will bring up the POP's selector again

@jesterscourt is it laggy when the PSP is overclocked to 333 ?

Go to the pops compatibility list and check out which one makes it work. Also, don't double post. You should know that by now.
